Field Trip for Grown-Ups @ Merz Apothecary

Join the Tell Me Why It's Cool Community to explore local businesses that are Chicago staples.

⚕️ We'll start our field trip with a visit to Merz Apothecary. This drugstore, established in 1875, prided themselves on speaking many languages to serve their customers and became a gathering place for Chicago immigrants.

Come to tour this beautiful piece of Chicago history and learn more about European apothecary traditions from a member of our TMWIC Community.

🍦 After we learn and shop through Merz, we'll go across the square to visit vegan ice cream shop, Vaca, to enjoy a treat and hang out with new friends in this cool Chicago
